The Wailing Pool (2025)
Low Fire CeramicsIn The Wailing Pool, a female figure looms over a bowl. She is statuesque, her hands wrapped tightly around the bowl. Her breasts hang over the rim, shielding the contents from spilling. Her mouth is held open in a silent scream, her hair slick and heavy, as though soaked.
It embodies the anxiety rooted in womanhood. The figure hovers between protection and collapse, questioning what must be held, and what is demanded of her body.
